Welcome to Caldwell P.H. Children’s Church.

We are so glad that you have found your way here. We would like to be the first ones to welcome you and your child(ren) to come and be apart of your youth.

Our main goal for Children’s Church is for kids to come to know Jesus Christ. To know what it means to build and have a personal relationship with Jesus, to know that each and every kid has a special calling on their life. We want them to go boldly declaring their faith. When the time comes to connect with others they share the life changing love of Jesus Christ and what he has for their friends as well. It is our desire to teach and equip them with a strong foundation and understanding of Gods word. We strive to help them build their everyday life upon Gods word and his love.

The children are the future of the church and we take our role as leaders in Children’s Church very serious. We are dedicated, love working with the Children and are excited to see what Jesus has in store for each and every one of them.

Children's Church is exactly what it sounds like it is. Church, but just for our youth ranging from 6 years of age up to and including 18. Cliff & Renee Gibson are the leaders for Children’s Church.

To better protect your child, we have a implemented a sign-in and sign-out sheet for each child. When you sign your child(ren) in, you will be issued a number that corresponds with your child(ren). That number will have to be turned in when you pick your child(ren)up. We kindly ask that each child brings their own Bible with them to church. If you forgot your Bible at home, do not worry, we have Bibles on hand for you to borrow. If you do not have one and or want one, we’ve got you covered! We have new Bibles on hand just for you! If your child(ren) is not sure how to find the books of the Bible on their own, do not worry! Younger children will be partnered with older ones, who will help them navigate through their Bible and help them learn. We also encourage that each child brings an offering if possible.

2 Corinthians 9:7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, (A)not grudgingly or of [a]necessity; for (B)God loves a cheerful giver.

We start our service with prayer and lead into discussion about how their week has gone and if they have anything on their mind they want to discuss. Gods will is first and at the head of each of our services, just as it is in the Adult church. We yield to our will and let God lead each service. With that in mind, we may not always get into the message that we have prepared. Depending upon how God leads & or what the kids want to discuss that has been on their heart the past week.

With each month the youth will be given a Bible memory verse to learn. Parents/guardians will be able to find this memory verse in our weekly church bulletin as well as on our website above. We encourage the parents/guardians to help your child learn the monthly memory verse. Not only do we want them to learn the memory verse but for them to understand the meaning of the verse as well.We also have a point system that will be on a dry erase board for every child, parent/guardian to see. The point system will be based on attendance, bringing their bibles, bringing a friend, learning the bible verse and explaining what the verse means to them. Cliff Gibson will be keeping a list of birthdays and will celebrate birthdays typically the following Sunday, if their birthday is in the middle of the week. This will be the only time we have snacks. We kindly ask that you please make sure your child(ren) eat breakfast prior to attending children’s church.

Kids who feel led or are interested in leading a service will be given the opportunity to do that. However, it is not required that Children lead a service. If a child feels that he/she has a calling on their life and they want to start using that calling in church, our youth leaders will encourage and support them in their calling.
